Dana Joseph Evans

Dana Joseph Evans, 65 of Hixson, TN passed away Sunday, May 14th, 2023.

Dana was born and raised in the North Georgia and Chattanooga areas and attended Chattanooga Valley High School. He was of the Baptist faith and was a hardworking and honest man. Dana worked at Hamilton Plastics and Gordon Produce. He liked to joke, cut up, and make people laugh. Dana went through many trials and tribulations in his life but he remains dearly loved by his family and friends.

Dana was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Dorothy Evans; siblings: Jerry Ann McCurdy, Stephen Carl Evans, Clifford Evans, and Mary Jane Plaster.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Evans; sons: Richard Evans, Christian Evans, and Joshua Evans; grandchildren, Shai Markum and Lucus Evans; sisters, Glenda Veal and Jean Ford; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, May 23rd, 2023 at 2pm in the Community Baptist Church at 145 Pink Oak Dr. Rock Spring, GA.
