Daris J. Anderson

Daris J. Anderson, 80 of Ringgold, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2019 in a local hospital.

Daris was born in Athens, TN and was a lifelong member of the East Athens Baptist Church. Daris loved to cook, shop, and most of all spending time with her family.

Daris was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Lillie Bell Guffey; great grandson, Kyler Anderson; one brother, and three sisters.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Norman Anderson; son, Tim L. (Ann) Anderson; brother-in-law, Dennis (Donna) Anderson; sisters-in-law, Alma (Jerry) Robb and Janice Martin; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Monday, June 17th at 2pm in the South Crest Chapel.

The family will receive friends Monday from noon until the funeral hour in the South Crest chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
