Donald Ausmus, 83 of Rossville passed away Thursday, June 6th, 2019 in a local healthcare facility.
Donald was born and raised in the Chattanooga area. He retired from Combustion after 44 years. Donald was a member of the Rossville First Baptist Church since the age of five. He enjoyed going to Riverbend, playing wheel chair basketball with the Chattanooga Big Wheels, and working on cars and motorcycles.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Williams Ausmus and Ruby Marquette; and brother, David Earl Ausmus.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Imogene Ausmus; three daughters, Debbie Ausmus, Jill McBee, and Joy (Mark) Reid; brother, Dewey Lee (Darlene) Ausmus; grandchildren, Eban McBee, Keely McBee, and Cara Reid; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held, Sunday June 9th at 2pm in the South Crest Chapel with Pastor Paul Williams officiating.
