Dorothy Mae Coley, 86 of Chattanooga passed away Wednesday March 20th in a local hospital.
Dorothy was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area and was a member of the Tiftonia Church of Christ. She loved feeding and taking care of the neighborhood cats but her passions in life were her children.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Coley; parents, Ed and Ruth Painter; infant son, Charles Edward Coley; son-in-law, Kenneth E. Lea; sister, June Alfred; and brother-in-law, Buddy Alfred.
Survivors include her son, Randy Coley; daughter, Joyce Sue Lea; sister-in-law, Lydia Fryar; brothers-in-law, Paul Coley and Jimmy Coley and several nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be: Paul Coley, Brandon Fryar, Rodney Fryar, Randy Coley, Scot Fryar, and Rodney Fryar, Jr.
Funeral services will be held, Monday, March 25th at 1pm in the South Crest Chapel with Minister John Cupp officiating.
