Dortha “Dot” Lea Turner Elliott, 85 of East Ridge, TN went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 1st, 2022 in a local healthcare facility.
Dot was born on November 23, 1936 in Chattanooga, TN. She was in the 1954 class of Chattanooga High School and was a member of Ridgedale Baptist Church. Dot retired after 21 years of service with the East Ridge Police Department and she loved her grandchildren dearly.
Dot was preceded in death by her parents, George A. and Pearl Majors Turner; sister, Joyce Lamberth; and brother, Richard Z. Turner.
Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Paul H. Elliott; son, James F. Elliott of Dunlap, TN; daughter, Pamela S. Bryson of Rossville, GA; grandsons, Jason M. (Rebekah) Patty and Kevin L. (Candice) Patty; great grandchildren: Nathan, Jacob, and Faith Patty; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 6th, 2022 at 2pm with Pastor Doug Plumlee officiating in the South Crest Chapel. A private family interment will be held in the Lakewood Memory Gardens South at a later date.
