Dwelda Kay Smith

Dwelda “Dee” “Wo-wo” Smith, 73 of Rossville, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2020 in her home.

Dwelda was born in Sequatchie, TN but lived for many years in the Rossville area. She loved to watch her nieces and nephews play sports, her Mission Glen Baptist Church family, her Rossville Senior Village friends, and caring for her nieces and nephews.

Dwelda was preceded in death by her parents, James and Iula Smith; brothers, Jackie Smith and Charles (Sonny) Smith; and nephew, Jerry Allen Smith.

Survivors include her nieces and nephews: Jackie (Bryan) Dill, Kimberly (Greg) McGraw, Donna Smith, Annette Davis, and Chris (Angie) Hicks; great nieces and nephews: Bailey (Dominick) Genitempo , Ashley (Jason) Boughner, Dakota McGraw, Emma McGraw, Tasha Davis, Logan (Courtney) Hicks, and Laine Hicks; and several great great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held, Sunday, June 28th at 1pm in the Mission Glen Baptist Church at 2915 Happy Valley Rd. Rossville, GA 30741. Interment will follow in the Collier Cemetery in Dunlap, TN.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 11am until the funeral hour in the church. Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, Rossville.
