Edna Louise (Holcomb) Land

Edna Louise Land, 87 of Rossville, passed away Wednesday May 1, 2019 in a local hospital.

Louise was born in Ider, AL, but lived most of her life in the Rossville area. She was a member of the Church of Christ and proudly raised four children.  Louise loved to spend time with her family and enjoyed quilting and crocheting.

In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her son, Samuel D. Land III. 

Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Samuel D. Land; son, Joseph L. Land of Rossville, daughters, Evelyn (Jack) Citty and Lisa (Terry) Reynolds both of Chattanooga; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held, Thursday, May 2nd at 2pm in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South with Kenneth Holcomb officiating.

The family will receive friends, Thursday, May 2nd from 11am until 1:30pm in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
