Edna Whitley, 74, of Flintstone, passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at her residence.

Mrs. Whitley was born on September 18, 1943 to the late Joseph and Noelie Marchand Rushing. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cooking, painting art, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, John Whitley Sr.; son, John Whitley Jr.; sisters, Carol Stevens and Nelda Rae (Richard) Clousing. Brothers, Bobby Joe (Carol) Rushing and Joey Rushing; stepbrother, Dempsey Edmonston. 3 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11am Wednesday, October 11, 2017 in the chapel of Lane Funeral Home South Crest Chapel.
