Eldon "Butch" L Cooper Jr.

Eldon “Butch” Cooper, 60, of Ringgold passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2022.  Mr. Cooper lived most of his life in the Chattanooga and North Georgia area.  He was a graduate of Red Bank High School and he received a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.  Mr. Cooper was a United States Air Force Veteran having served in Dessert Storm as an Electronic Computer and Switching Systems Specialist.  He and his wife had the most beautiful love for each other and he absolutely loved his grandchildren dearly.  Mr. Cooper enjoyed watching documentaries on television and working on computers and electronics.

Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Cooper; step-children, Steven Lawson and Aaron (Jessica) Moore; and three grandchildren, Madelyn Lawson, Brantley Moore, and Addison Moore.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at 12:00 noon, at the Boynton Church of God, 1956 Three Notch Rd, Ringgold, GA 30736, with Reverend Jerry Lewis officiating.

Military Honors will be provided by the United States Air Force and the American Legion Post 95.
