Eleanor R. Rimasfski Kane, 79 of Chattanooga, passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 1st, 2019 at a local health care facility.
Eleanor was a native of the North Georgia and Chattanooga area. She retired from Caviler after many years of service. She loved to watch any kind of sports, travel to Tunica with her friends, and collecting roosters, frogs, and crystal shoes. Above all, Eleanor dearly loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nick Kane; parents, Joseph and Ethel Rimaskski; son, Tony Cahoon; sister, Ruth Koger; brothers, Frank, Alfred, Donald, and Joe Rimasfski.
Survivors include her son, Kenny Cahoon; sisters, Maxine Warren and Jerri Bearden; 5 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held, Friday at 1pm in the South Crest Chapel with Pastor Bill Proctor officiating. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Gardens South.

The family will receive friends Friday from 10:30am until the funeral hour. Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
