Ervin Ray Horton

Ray Horton, 80, of Rossville, passed away at his home on Monday, September 24, 2018 after a long illness.

Ray served his country in the U.S. Army and his community as a carpenter/cabinet maker for fifty-five years. He attended Zion Assembly Church of God in Rossville for the last several years, enjoyed fishing, and particularly loved the Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Falcons, and was preceded in death by his daughter, Debbie, his mother and father, Jim and Viola Pearson, brother, JB., and infant sister, Baby Elizabeth.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Pat; daughter, Gwenn; son, Jimmy; sister, Lois; and two grandsons, Sam and Josh; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday, October 6, 2018, at 4:00 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
