Evelyn Frances Beck, 87, of Rossville, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2020. She was born to parents John and Hassas “Hassie” Clayton, on November 6, 1932 in Cleveland, Tennessee.
Evelyn worked as a Hosiery Specialist for 35 years. After 30 years of service, she retired from Gateway Hosiery Mill in the late 1990's.
She enjoyed Reading, Cruising, Sewing and Church. She attended the Cloud Springs Church of God and Grace Church in Ringgold.
Evelyn met Earl Eugene Beck in 1944. They were married on September 20, 1947 in Catoosa County Georgia. Together they raised 2 children: Pamela Beck Kober and Donald Eugene Beck.
She was preceded in death by husband, Earl Eugene Beck; father, John Clayton; mother, Hassas “Hassie” Clayton; brothers, Earl Francis Clayton and William Bedford Clayton; sisters, Betsy Clayton Parnes and Geraldine Clayton Perkins; and grandson, David Edward Beck.
Evelyn is survived by her children, Pamela (Tim) Kober and Donald (Pat) Beck; grandchildren, Terry Lavon Gann II, Debra Ann Gann, Christopher Brian Gann, John Earl Beck, and Heather Reed; and several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:00p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Pastor Bret Sullivan officiating.
Interment will follow in the Lakewood South Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 2-5p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville, GA.
