Fannie (Blankenship) Stone

Fannie Stone, 85 of Lookout Mountain, GA passed away on Monday, October 14th, 2019.

Fannie lived most of her life on Lookout Mountain and was a member of the Latter Day Saints. She worked at JC Penny and as a private home health care CNA. Fannie enjoyed cooking, sewing, shopping, canning, gardening, and most of all taking care of her family.

Fannie was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas R. Stone, Sr.; brother, Lewis Blankenship; sisters, Ava Blankenship, Lula Mae Blankenship, and Linda Blankenship.

Survivors include her four children: Glena (Steve) Mooneyham, Elaine (Mike) Willingham, Douglas (Robin) Stone Jr., and Roger Stone; brother, James Blankenship; grandsons, Randall, Steven, and Paul Stone and Colton Bodine; several great grandchildren; one great great grandson; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Friday at 1:00p.m. at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Melvin Wimpy officiating. 

The family will receive friends Thursday from 5-9p.m. at the South Crest chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, Rossville.
