Forrestine Parm, 79, of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Sunday, March 19, 2023. She was a native of Calhoun, GA and had lived most of her life in Rossville. She was a member of the Dry Valley Baptist Church. Mrs. Parm loved her family dearly, spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed shopping and her weekend get aways with her sister, Evelyn. Mrs. Parm’s favorite trip was to the beach, she loved Elvis, and dancing. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Verna Cudd; uncle, Jim Cudd; brother, Bobby Cudd; and sisters, Lucille Gravitt, Margaret Ferguson, and Francis Stanley.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Elbert Parm; four children, Vivian McGowan, Teresa (Johnny) Phillips, Denise (Isaac) Tijerina, and Kimsey (Darcel) Parm; brothers, Roy Lee Cudd and James Cudd; sister, Evelyn Cornwell Sewell; 8 grandchildren, Haley Smith, Wren Parm, Colton Clark, Corey Phillips, Nathan Phillips, Taylor Phillips, Camryn Tijerina, and Hannah Tijerina; nine great grandchildren, GrayCee Smith, Lexi Smith, Brayden Smith, Hadley Parm, Saylor Parm, Carter Phillips, Ivy Phillips, Ellie Phillips, and Oliver Phillips; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 23rd at 3:00p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Pastor Ricky Studdard officiating.
Interment will follow in the Lakewood South Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00p.m. until the funeral hour at the south Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville, GA.
