Frieda Janette (Smith) Hale

Janette Hale, 87, of Chickamauga entered through those Pearly Gates of Heaven on Sunday, July 24, 2022.  She was a lifelong resident of North Georgia and had lived the past 20 years in Chickamauga.  She was a member of Harbor of Faith Church and the Young at Heart.  Mrs. Hale retired form Coca Cola in the late 1990’s as a tele sales representative with over twenty years of service.  She loved her family dearly especially her children and sisters.  She cherished “sister day” each Friday.  She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Hale; sons, Jerome Avakian, Donald Hale, Jr., and Ronald Hale; parents, Lefty and Grace Smith; and her precious great great granddaughter, Harper Mae Grace Roberts.

Survivors include her daughter, Ann (Marty) Shelby; step-children, Denise Hale and Charles Hale; two sisters, Patsy Hickey and Barbara Massey; five grandchildren, Kila (Clay), Aaron, John, Jason, and Michael; several great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00a.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Reverend Tim Ashley officiating.

Interment will follow in the TN-GA Memorial Park.
