Gary Duane Wilson

Gary Wilson, 50, of Chattanooga passed away Sunday February 28, 2021. He proudly served his country and was a retired Sergeant First Class (E-7) from the U.S. Army. Gary enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, collecting guns, and cherished time with his children. He will forever be remembered always telling his family and friends to “Keep Smiling” and Gary will be forever missed. He is preceded in death by his mother, Marie Wilson. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Toshua Townsend, Destiny (Max) Vacchiano, Jesse Wilson and Mukayla Meeks; grandchildren, Atreyu Friddell, Aphrodite Vacchiano & Patrick Vacchiano; sister, Cindy Wilson; Niece, Amanda York and Nephew, Alan York and father, Lloyd Wilson. Funeral services will be held 12p.m. Wednesday in the chapel. Interment will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with full military honors. The family will receive friends 4p.m. – 8p.m. Tuesday.
