Geneva Dunn, 79 of Rossville, passed away Thursday, March 18th, 2021 in a local hospital.

Geneva was born and raised in the Rossville area and was of the Church of God faith. She worked for Rebel’s Drive In for a few months before accepting her true calling as mother and raised four wonderful children. Geneva enjoyed going to yard sales, planting flowers, painting porcelain figurines, and playing with her kitties. She was an outgoing and loving woman who made friends everywhere she went.

Geneva was preceded in death by her husband, Mitchell “Mickey” Dunn, Sr.; parents, Ham and Vinie Vaughn; sisters: Madie Owensby, Julie Jackson, and Retha Nettles; half-sister, Christine Ross; and grandson, Jeffrey Scott.

Survivors include her children: Carol (Robert) Holcomb, Mitchell “Ronnie” Dunn, Jr., Teresa (Daryl) Phillips, and Kim (Jesse) Dunn-Gentry; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A private burial will be held.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made for memorial expenses.
