George Hayes

George “Eddie” Hayes, 69, of Chattanooga, went home to be with his Lord August 3, 2018, surrounded by his family.

Eddie would work on anything and loved his church and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his parents, William & Irene Hayes; brother, Bubby Hayes and sisters, Dorothy Green and Nancy Hamby.

Eddie is survived by his wife, Jackie Hayes, five children,  Edwina (Marvin) Songer, Hank (Michelle) Hayes, Kathy Hayes, James Williams, Raymond Haires; brother, David (Dora) Hayes; sister, Donna (Tommy) Duckworth and 12 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Monday, August 6th at 5:00 p.m.in the South Crest Chapel. 

The family will receive friends Sunday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
