Helen Beatrice (Hendricks) Whitt

Helen B. Whitt, 84, of Rossville, passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 in a local health care facility.

Helen was a lifelong resident of the Rossville/Ft. Oglethorpe areas, attended People’s Baptist Church and had worked for many years for Krystal & The Rebel Drive-In.  Mrs. Whitt was preceded in death by her husband, John William Whitt, Sr., sisters, Jessie Cochran & Dot Pollard, and brothers, Randall, Bob, & Gene Hendricks.

Survivors include her children, Etta Bess, Connie Walker, Janice Murray, Butch Anderton, Tommy Whitt, & Judy Bowling; several grand, great-grand, and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with interment to follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Lookout Mountain, Georgia.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
