Hoyt Lewayne Tucker

Mr. Hoyt Lewayne Tucker, 73, of Chattanooga, TN, passed away on January 21, 2023.  Hoyt was born in Chattanooga, TN, on May 29, 1949 to Mr. Marion Tucker and Mrs. Mattie Tucker.

Hoyt was a carpenter by trade and a member of the Local Carpenters Union 74.  Hoyt worked for many years with the TVA before his retirement.  He will always be remembered as a loving husband, and very sharp dresser.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Hoyt is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Ada Blake Tucker, children; Shannon, Jeremy, and Filine Tucker, sister, Helen Tucker, nephew, Harry “Buster”(Evie) Daniels.

A funeral service for Hoyt will be conducted in the chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at 1:30 pm.  Interment will follow the service at Greenwood Cemetery, Chattanooga.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 25 from 10 am -6pm.
