Imojean "Jean" Plank

Ida Imojean “Jean” Plank, 78 of Rossville, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2019 in her home surrounded by her family.

Jean was a lifelong resident of Rossville, having lived in the Westside Community for over 50 years. She retired from Textile Printing with over 20 years of service and was of the Baptist faith. Jean enjoyed shopping and cherished her family.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, James A. Plank; parents, Ray and Hazel White; brothers, Jimmy, Odell and Bernice White.

Survivors include her children: Velda (Howard) Fitzgerald of Athens, GA, Michael Plank of Rossville, GA, and Rhonda (Denny) Spencer of Rossville, GA; five grandchildren: Rachel (Ian), Kelly and Eric Fitzgerald, Brittany (Jordan) Shrum-Farnum, and Emily Spencer; great grandchild, Jackson Farnum; brothers, Walter, Bobby, Larry and Melvin; sisters, Linda, Joyce, Geneva and Sheila; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held, Friday October 18th at 12:30pm with Reverend Glenn York officiating. Interment will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
