Irene Jeanette Mazzie (you probably knew her as Jeanette) passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at the age of 89.
Jeanette was born on May 10, 1931 in Chattanooga, Tennessee to George B. and Ionea P. Holden. She worked for Olan Mills as an airbrush artist for 22 years before she retired. She celebrated life with optimism, a table full of food and with as many family and friends as she could fit into her house.
Jeanette is preceded in death by her father, George, her mother, Ionea, nine of her siblings, and two of her daughters, Patricia Wofford and Jacqueline Mazzie.
Her spirit and memory are carried on by her three surviving children: Sherry Wilson, Angela Mercer, and John K.
