Jack "JJ" May

Jack Dewayne “JJ” May, Jr, 30, passed away on June 18, 2021.  He grew up in the Ringgold and Chickamauga area and attended Gordon Lee High School.

JJ was a former delivery driver who was active in the Honda Car Club.  “He liked to ride the roads and loved the open highway.”  JJ adored his daughter, Amya, and enjoyed playing games with her. He also cared deeply for his nephews.  JJ loved hanging out with his friends, listening to Rap music and enjoyed smoking 420.  He wanted those he loved to be happy.

Survivors include his daughter, Amya Zyanna; mother, Marcy May; father, Jack May; grandmother, Anita Holcomb; sisters, Sabrina (James Frady) Anderson and Samantha Anderson; 4 nephews, Cameron Sisemore, Gavin Lankford, Elijah Anderson and Gage Frady; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Lane Funeral Home South Crest Chapel.

The family will receive visitors on Monday, June 21, 2021 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Lane Funeral Home South Crest Chapel, located in Rossville, GA.
