James Edward Harrison, 77, of Rossville, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2018 at his residence.

Mr. Harrison was a veteran of the U.S. Army, a member of the V.F.W, the Fraternal Order of Eagles, and was the owner of Legends Bar-B-Que. He was retired from the Express Freight Systems after 37 years of service. He loved the Tennessee Vols, playing golf, and was preceded in death by his parents, James & Rhonwyn Harrison.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Helen Harrison; daughter, Brenda (Timmy) Lovett; son, Bubba Harrison; sister, Johnnie George; brothers, Calvin (Teresa) Harrison and Orvile Harrison; seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 17th from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
