James "Bo" Brooks

James “Bo” Terry Brooks, 49 of Ringgold, GA passed away Tuesday, September 28th, 2021 in his home.

Bo was born and raised in the Chattanooga and North Georgia areas. During his working career, Bo owned scrap metal yards and then opened his own business, Brooks Automotive. Bo loved vehicles of all kinds, but had a special passion for Chevy’s. Outside of work, he continued his passion for vehicles with trips to Gatlinburg for the “Rod Run.” Bo was a kind hearted man, had a great sense of humor, and was known for his story telling abilities. He could make anyone laugh and his quick witted come backs will never be forgotten. Bo was always willing to help anyone who needed it no matter what. He loved his family above all else and enjoyed spending time with them and his friends.

Bo was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Brooks, Sr.

Survivors include his wife of 12 years, April Brooks; children: Austin (Niki) Brooks, Kaitlon (Zack) Smith, Gavin Brooks, Katie Allen, and Cody Allen; grandchildren: Winston Brooks, Ivy Brooks, and Lakelyn Smith; mother, Betty Johnson; parents-in-law, James and Marsha Alexander; siblings: Thomas (Judy) Brooks, Jr., Tammy (Brandon) Dillon, and Gina (Aaron) Sheppard; best friend and business partner, Brad (Jessica) Dupree; best friend, Arthell (Adrienne) Gray; and a host of other friends, business associates, extended family members, nieces, and nephews,

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 6th, 2021 at 1pm in the South Crest Chapel. Interment will follow in the Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
