Janis Jo (Dyer) Webb

Janis Jo Webb, 76 of Hixson, TN passed away Thursday, June 1st, 2023.

Janis was born and raised in the Chattanooga/Ringgold area and graduated from Central High School. She attended Chattanooga State Community College and was of the Christian faith. Janis was dedicated to her faith and loved the Lord. She adored her family, would do anything to take care of them, and was affectionately known as “Meemaw” by many. Janis enjoyed sitting outside, going to Cracker Barrel, and family visits. She was a sweet, cheerful, and loving woman who would go out of her way to help someone. Janis will be most remembered for her giving heart and selfless character. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Janis was preceded in death by her parents, James Lee and Betty Dyer; sister, Gypsy Toth; and nephew, Rayzer Gaston.

Survivors include her children: Michelle (Mike) Brock, Beth Webb, and Jason (Brigget) Barnhill; grandchildren: Jessica Whitehead, Julia Triplett, Jillian Thrasher, Brianna Webb, Morgan Jones, Colton Barnhill, and Caitlyn Barnhill; great grandchildren: Sam, Nate, and Audrey; siblings: Gayla Smith, Lisa Gaston, James Lee Dyer III; several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 6th, 2023 from noon until 2:30pm with the graveside service to follow at 3pm in the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
