Nettie Jeanette Connatser, 91, of Rossville went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at her home with her family by her side.  She had lived most of her life in the Rossville area.  She was a member of the Valley View Baptist Church in Flintstone and the Faith to Faith Gospel Singing Trio.  Her passions in life were God, her family, attending church, vacationing at the beach, cooking, crocheting, and singing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Robert Connatser, Jr.; daughter, Linda Fox; parents, James W. and Etha “Maw maw” Cook; brothers, Glenn, James, Leroy, and Clifford Cook; and sister, Edith Oberklein.

Survivors include her children, Carol Penney, Rita (L.T.) Smith, Charles (Stacy) Connatser, Janice Petty, and Terry Connatser; brother, Junior Cook; eight grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Dr. Jeff Brown and Reverend Bill Proctor officiating.

Interment will follow in the Lakewood South Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4-8p.m. and Wednesday from 12 noon until the funeral hour at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville, GA.
