Jerald Allen Friend

Jerald Allen Friend, 68, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2020.    Jerry was born in Logansport, Indiana but lived in Chattanooga, TN.  He was a 1969 graduate of Brainerd High School and was a former aviation mechanic and cook.

Jerry loved NASCAR, sports and cooking.

He was preceded in death by both his parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Survivors include his son, Jerald Allen Friend, Jr. of Iowa; daughter, Christina Friend of Arizona; sister, Regena Ann Medley and honorary brother, Michael Medley of Chattanooga; Several nieces, nephews, 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements made by the South Crest Chapel and Crematory of Lane Funeral Home, located at the foot of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
