Jere Ann Eubanks

Jere Ann Eubanks, 85 of Rossville, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 31st, 2020 in a local healthcare facility.

Jere was born in Bowersville, GA but spent most of her life in the North Georgia area. She graduated in the 1950 Class of Lakeview High School and won the Miss Tri-Hi-Y Beauty Pageant during her time there. Jere was a member of the original First Baptist Church of Rossville and a member of the Rossville Eastern Stars. She worked for a number of years at the Chattanooga Times Free Press in the Ad Department and for over 10 years at TVA. Jere was a strong, independent woman who was often described as driven and unafraid to speak her mind. She also had a big heart and cared deeply for her family, even dedicating many years to caring for her mother. Jere was hard working professionally and personally and will be missed by all who knew her.

Jere was preceded in death by her parents, James F. and Venice Eubanks; brothers, Roy B. Eubanks and James W. Eubanks; and sister-in-law, Donna Eubanks.

Survivors include her sister, Peggy (Roy) White; nieces and nephews: Darla (Alex) Chambliss, Shannon (Jaclyn) York; Shawna (Scott) Davis, Dana Dawn Eubanks, Lori Eubanks Parris, Matt (Sheena) Eubanks, Buddy (Karen) Eubanks, Krista Eubanks; and several grand nieces and nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 3rd at 11am in the South Crest Chapel. Interment will follow in the Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
