Jerileeza Alexis Scroggins, 26 of Ringgold, journeyed from this earth on December 26, 2019. Born in Palm Springs, California. She loved adventures in many forms.
Jerileeza loved being silly and when she made others laugh her eyes would dance and sparkle with pure joy. She made art out of anything and saw beauty in everything. She loved being in nature, sitting by a fire, going to the beach with her family, and camping and hiking. Jerileeza had a kind, compassionate, empathetic spirit and would rather give to others than to herself. She was one-of-a-kind and will be incredibly missed.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers; Joe Jarret Scroggins and Jerry Lee Miller, Sr., whom she was named after. Her grandmother Pamala Ray Lane, an uncle Jimmy Miller and cousin Heather Miller.
Survivors include her parents, Joseph Scroggins and Julianne Miller; sisters, Joshlynne (Christopher Hughes) Scroggins and Jennianne (Tyler William) Scroggins; nephew, Corvo Eli-Jason; fur-baby, Mahko; grandmothers, Jacquelyn Sandy Miller and Peggy Lee Scroggins; great grandmother, Marianne Lee; aunt, Debbie Scroggins and uncles, Jerry Miller, Jr., Jon Miller, Josh Miller, and Wayne Scroggins; cousins, Jeremy (Meghan) Miller, Jodi (Randy) Pierce, Tim (Catrina) Scroggins, Austin (Mattie) Scroggins, and Faith (Reuben Hernandez) Scroggins; and many second cousins and extended family.
A special thank you is extended to all who contributed to her funeral expenses and the outpour of love and support from family and friends.
