Jerry was a ray of light in an otherwise dark world. He could create the most beautiful flower arrangements and I will always remember him working in the shop with Lucille. He was good to his family and kept in touch with them thru the years. He enjoyed his job at Walmart and thru it all he and his friend Darrell Sheehan were inseparable. I know it will be difficult Darrell but know that we are here for you if you need us. You were such a good and caring friend to Jerry. He could never have asked for a better friend than you. I know that he hated to leave you but we know that Jerry knew Jesus as his Lord and Savior and that we can and will see him again one fine day. Until then he is working in God's garden and making beautiful arrangements for Jesus and is no longer suffering or in pain.

Darrell, I can't begin to tell you how brokenhearted we are. Mother let us know last night that Jerry had gone on to heaven.
There's an old saying, 'that which doesn't kill you makes you stronger'...I've never believed that. The things that
have tried to kill me only made me sad and angry. I believe that our strength comes from the good things...
your family, your friends, the satisfaction of doing good things for others, and love. Those are the things that
keep us whole, and those are the things to hold on to when we are broken. Grief is the last act of love that we can
give, where there is deep grief, there is deep love.
How lucky are we to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.
We love you and are holding you in our hearts and prayers.
