Jerry Lee McEwen

Gerald “Jerry” Lee McEwen, 94 of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, February 19th, 2021 in Madisonville, TN.

Jerry was born in Whitwell, TN and lived most of his life in the Chattanooga area. He was a proud US Marine veteran who served in World War II and then again in Korea earning the Purple Heart. Jerry retired from U.S. Pipe and Foundry and he enjoyed dancing and listening to country music.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Mollie (Condra) McEwen; and brother, Kenneth Ray McEwen.

Survivors include his sisters: Anna Marr, Jean Gann, Alice McEwen; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, February 26th, 2021 at 1pm in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.
