Jessie Mae Williams, 89, of Trenton passed away Monday, October1st, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Williams was a resident of the north Georgia area and a retired bookkeeper for Seaboard Farms. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Open Door Baptist Church. Mrs. Williams had a servant’s heart, she loved to cook especially a big Sunday night family dinner. She never missed an opportunity to babysit her grandchildren, to sit with the elderly, and take road trips to Florida. She will always be remembered as a spunky woman who could do anything.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Williams, Sr.; parents, James and Pernia Palmer; and sisters, Marie Williams, Wanda Ledbetter, and Linda Phillips.
Survivors include her sons, Billy (Connie) Williams and Thomas ( Deborah) Williams; grandchildren, Tracey (Chase Carver) Williams and Casey (Jenny) Williams; great-grandchildren, Caitlyn Goff, David (Hayle Persinger) Goff, and Savannah Williams; great great grandchildren, Jameson “Jamie” Goff and Riley Goff; 5 brothers, 2 sisters, many nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 5th, 2018 at 11:00am in the South Crest Chapel with Brother Robert Goff and Reverend James Palmer officiating. Interment will follow in the Humphrey’s Cemetery.
