Jimmy Wayne Evans

Jimmy W. Evans, 66, went home to be with the Lord on September 12, 2023.  He was born in Chattanooga and grew up in the North Georgia area. Jimmy attended Rossville High School where he met his sweetheart, Sherry.  They have been married for 49 years.

Jimmy loved hunting and fishing.  He also enjoyed watching many episodes of the Andy Griffith show. 

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Kristy McDaniel.

Jimmy is survived by his loving wife, Sherry Evans; children, Jason (Sheila), Misty Evans (William West), and Tanner Scholtz; grandchildren, Matthew, Luke, Ely and Sabrina; and great grandchild, Colton.
