Jimmy Ray Lea

Jimmy Lea, 69, of Flintstone, GA passed away Saturday, November 13, 2021 at a local hospital.  He was a lifelong resident of North Georgia and a Rossville High School graduate.  He was a machinist by trade having worked for Pierce Welding, Signal Machine, and Lynskey Performance.  He most recently worked from his machine shop at his home and specialized in unique jobs.  Jimmy loved his family, deer hunting, working, and he could always be seen with his dog, Oney.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Jewell Lea; and sister, Claudine Frost.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Angie Lea; children, Jessica Lea and Melissa Rose; sister, Carolyn Dawson; three grandchildren, Taylor Rose, Peyton Rose, and Easton Trotter; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:00p.m. in the South Crest Chapel.

Interment will follow in the Lakewood South Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 11:00a.m. until the funeral hour at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville, GA.
