Joe Harned

Joe Harned, 82, of Rossville passed away Sunday, December 9, 2018 at his home.  He was a native of Kentucky and had lived most of his life in the Chattanooga and North Georgia area.  He was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary and he was a mechanic by trade having worked for many years at Bill Penney Tire and Marine.  Joe also worked for his father who owned Cleveland Pest Control.  His passions in life were his family, helping Joe Lee Johnson, re-building cars, going to car shows, and NASCAR.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Harned and mother, Myrtle Suit.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Carol Harned; children, Nicole Watts of Rossville and Sean (Thera) Thomason of Signal Mountain; five grandchildren, Hali Gray, Chelsea Thomason, Gracie Thomason, Elena Ventura, and Erika Ventura.
