Joe Herman Loveless

Joe Herman Loveless, 85, of Ringgold went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 2, 2020 at a local hospital.  Mr. Loveless was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and North Georgia area.  He retired in the late 1990’s from Valley Machine Welding with over 30 years of service.  Mr. Loveless was a member of Standifer Gap Baptist Church and was a United States Air Force Veteran.  His passions in life were his family, gardening, fishing, hunting, and enjoying the outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Smith Loveless; son, Carlos Hall; daughter, Barbara Hall; and eight brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his children, Johnny (Judy) Hall, Grady Loveless, Jane (Mike) Bowman, and Wayne (Sandy) Loveless; nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 1:00p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Pastor Wayne Loveless officiating.  Military services will follow on the front lawn of the funeral home.

Interment will be in the Lakewood South Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 11a.m. until the funeral hour at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville, GA.
