John “The Bug Man” Agard, 81, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, April 21st, 2020 in a local health care facility.
John was born in Chicago, but had lived for a number of years in the Chattanooga area. He was of the Baptist faith and retired after working for many years with Lady Bug Exterminating Company where he was affectionately known as “The Bug Man.” John enjoyed playing the clarinet, working on computers, flying model airplanes, listening to music, cooking, and spending time with his family.
John was preceded in death by his parents, John and Delsa Agard; and sisters, Georgeanne Wheeler and Delores Agard.
Survivors include his children: John Alan Agard, James (Melanie) Agard, Denise (Jimmey) Justice, and Michael Agard; grandson, John Alan (Lacey) Agard, Jr.; five other grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, June 14, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel with Rev. Jim Bennett officiating.
