John Robert Osborn, 56, of the Lakeview Community went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at his home with his family by his side. He was a native of Pittsburg, PA and had lived most of his life in the Chattanooga and North Georgia area. He was a Christian who loved the Lord and enjoyed attending virtual services from Westview Church of God and Ringgold Church of God. He was a Soldier with the Salvation Army for many years and he enjoyed watching his daughter play in the Miracle League every chance he got. His passions in life were Christ, his family, his fur babies, trains, fire trucks, and collecting Snoopy and Peanuts Memorabilia.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jaqueline “Jackie” Colville; maternal grandparents, Robert and Anna McDonald; and paternal grandmother, Ruth Osborn.
Survivors include his loving wife of 32 years, Bonnie Osborn; daughter, Liz Osborn; father, Tom Osborn; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:30a.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Reverend Carroll Allen officiating.
Interment will follow in the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Friday from 9:30 to 11:30a.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville, GA.
