John Douglas "Doug" Brown

John Douglas “Doug” Brown, 61, left this life on Saturday, March 11, 2023.  He was born on January 8, 1962.  Doug had a larger-than-life personality.  He lived and loved with all of him.  He was blunt, sometimes harsh, but always wanted what was best for his people.  Doug was an artist in every sense.  He was happiest when he was creating, whether it be music or art.  These days you could find him outside listening to music, tending his garden, and occasionally sneaking behind a tree.  In his younger days he enjoyed dirt bike riding, spelunking, and snorkeling.  Summers were for the creek or pool.  There was always a new adventure and plenty of fun.  He will be missed, and he was so fiercely loved.

He is survived by all who loved him, especially his daughter, Norrisha Brown with his first wife Laura Cope; daughters, Casey (Jeromy) Gibson, Monica (Skyler) Brown, Olivia (James) Harley; son, Kamyn (Hillary) Brown by his second wife, Tresa Brown; grandchildren, Ella, Romi, Zaylee, Wyatt, Zuree, and Zeplyn; current wife, Rebecca Brown and her children; brother, Jack (John) Brown; sister, Gloria (Alan) Odom; lots of in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

His children will be having a service Sunday, March 19, 2023 from 2-5p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville, GA.
