Johnny Raymond Bishop "Pop"

Johnny “Raymond” Bishop “Pop” 75, of Rossville passed away September 19, 2019 in a local hospital.

Raymond was born November 16, 1943 to the late James and Maude Bishop. He enjoyed spending time with his family, was a great husband, father, and “Pop”. He was self-employed for 40 years as a contractor in the Heating and Air Business. He was of Baptist faith and attended Calvary Chapel.  

Raymond was preceded in death by parents, James and Maude Bishop, sister, Carolyn Horton.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years Marzel; daughters, Terri (Marty) Carder, Audrey (Jeff) Waters, sons; David (Angie) Bishop, Lee (Cissy) Bishop. Sister, Shirley Bishop, 7 grandchildren, and 2 great grand children.

A gathering of friends will be Sunday 4-6pm at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, Rossville.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
