Jonathan “Jon” Dodd, 29 of Rossville passed away Monday, February 3, 2020.
Jon gave his heart to God at a very young age. He was a graduate of Chattanooga Christian School where he had many friends and was involved in rock climbing and other outdoor clubs. After high school, he worked as an IT Equipment Specialist, traveling across the country and internationally to assess and repair IT equipment. Jon was an avid outdoorsman, continuously pursuing activities like camping, rock climbing and hiking.
He was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Jasper and Virginia Bridges Dodd and Jerry Young.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents; Joe and Gayla Young Dodd, brothers; Joseph (Selah) and Jared Dodd, Nephew and Niece; Wiley and Maren Dodd, Grandmother; Judy Blanks, several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 7, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with Pastor David Brown officiating.
Interment will follow in the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Tankersley, Jay-Scott Tankersley, Kevin Dodd, Jack Lawrence, James DeCoursey and Jack Parker.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 6, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory at the end of Historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
