Joyce Ann (Williams) Turner

Joyce Ann Turner, 74 of Rossville, GA passed away Thursday, May 26th, 2022.

Joyce was born in Trion, GA and attended school in East Lake. She was of the Baptist faith and loved the Lord. Joyce dedicated each and every morning to devotions and prayer. She was also the owner and operator of Charlie’s Angels cleaning service. Joyce was a talented poet, a self taught detective, and always doing things for others. She enjoyed going to yard sales and estate sales and was affectionately known as the “sale queen.” Joyce had a servant’s heart and never met a stranger. She is deeply loved and is dearly missed.

Joyce is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Mabel Williams; son, Frank Turner; daughter, Lori Duncan; and 15 siblings.

Survivors include her loving husband of 56 years, Jerry Turner; children, Gayla Turner and Tony (Cyndi) Turner; grandchildren: Dagon Turner, Joshua (Kristin) Duffany, and Allison Duncan; great grandchildren, Landon and Emma Grace Duffany; siblings: Barbara (Fred) Hall, Betty Huckabee, and Alice (Jim) Gunter; and a plethora of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 31st, 2022 at 12pm in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with Ronnie Dodson officiating. Interment will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
