Joyce Rominger Webb, 84, of Rossville went home to be with the Lord Monday, March 18, 2019.
She was born in Chattanooga February 24, 1935.
Joyce was severely vision impaired by the age of 12 but never let blindness hinder her ambition. She was hired by Mose and Garrison Siskin who provided for her to attend and graduate from Alabama School for the Blind. The Siskin brothers installed a Braille Switchboard and Joyce proved sight was not required to work and succeed in her daily job. She enjoyed her job very much and retired after 20 years of service with Siskin Steel.
She was preceded in death by husband Harvey Webb her parents; Hamilton and Edna Mae Gaddis Rominger , Step-Mother Gertrude Rominger and nephew, Jim Rominger, Jr.
She is survived by her brothers; Jimmy (Charlotte) Rominger and Wayne Rominger, Sr. Joyce is also survived by niece, Gayla Rominger; Nephews, Wayne and Shane (Shelly) Rominger; Great Niece, Kayla Rominger.
A graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2019, in Lakewood Memory Gardens East with Carolyn Beatle officiating.

The family will receive friends Thursday, March 21, 2019, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Lane Funeral Home, South Crest Chapel located at the foot of Historic Missionary Ridge in Rossville.
