Judith Ann White Womack, 71, of Fort Oglethorpe, wife of Mark S. Womack III, and daughter of Giles Dale White and Louise Crocker White, died July 28, 2017 at her home.

She worked for over 40 years at Provident/Unum. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Lakeview as well as a member of the Sunshiners and Esther Class.  She loved arts and crafts of many kinds from painting to pottery.  Most of all she loved her family. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Earnest White.

She is survived by her husband, Mark Womack, Fort Oglethorpe and two sons, Mark S Womack IV (Katherine) of Signal Mountain and Ryan M Womack (Kacy) of Signal Mountain ; five beloved grandchildren, Kate, Henry, Gus Womack and Waverly and Banks Womack; two brothers, Dale (Connie) White of Decatur, AL and Gary White of Rossville; two sisters, Anita (Troy) McClure of Rock Spring and Virginia (Millard) Cantrell of Norfolk, VA; her father and mother-in-law, Mark (Betty) S Womack Jr, of East Ridge, multiple brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Lakeview First Baptist Church with Pastor Patrick Cooper officiating. Interment will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery. Mrs. Womack will lie in state at the church from 10:00 AM until the service hour.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM on Monday, July 31, 2017 in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
