Julie Michelle Sherrill

Julie Willoughby Sherrill, 49 of Ooltewah, passed away Tuesday, June 8th, 2021 in a local hospital.

Julie was born in Chattanooga, TN and raised in the North Georgia area. She was in the last graduating class of Chattanooga Valley High School. Julie enjoyed collecting pocket books, relaxing and listening to 80s rock-n-roll, and was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan. She was a loving and big hearted woman and will be greatly missed.

Julie was preceded in death by her father, David Willoughby and grandson, Alijah Phillips.

Survivors include her daughter, Cheyenne Phillips; mother, Gaynell (Duane) Warren; brother, Jason (Crystal) Willoughby; step-brother, Jason Warren; step-sister, Cheryl (Johnathan) Moore; several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and Many Friends.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 10th, 2021 at 7pm in the South Crest Chapel with Pastor James Davis officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that memorial contributions be made to help pay for Julie’s final expenses.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 1pm until the service hour in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, Rossville.
