June Finnigan, 85, of Chattanooga, passed from this world on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 to go home to be with her late husband, Edward Joseph Finnigan, her beloved son, Timothy Finnigan and her adored Grandmother, GG.

She was born in Brooklyn, NY on October 31, 1932 to the late Carol and Grace Moon and later moved to Chattanooga, TN in 1984. She worked for CBL Associates until she retired in 1995.  Following her retirement, she volunteered with the Red Cross information desk at Erlanger Hospital. She also volunteered at the Ronald McDonald Room at Erlanger.  She is survived by her three daughters, Nancy Flanagan, Teri Finnigan and Tami Finnigan, son, Kevin Finnigan.  Additional survivors include her five grandchildren, Jennifer Flanagan, Brian Finnigan, Colleen Flanagan, Chelsea Finnigan, Reagan Finnigan, her brother, Kenneth Moon, her nephews, Barney and K.C. Moon and her favorite cousin Pat Livers and her best friend, Gloria Pouengue.  June will be missed by many, please keep her in your thoughts as she loved you all.

There will be no services at the funeral home. In keeping of June’s wishes, she will be cremated and her ashes spread with her son’s ashes, so they will always be together.

Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
