Kathy Cresswell

Kathy Cresswell, 60 of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, September 20th, 2019 in a local hospital.

Kathy was born in Chattanooga and spent most of her life in East Ridge, TN.  She was a 1977 graduate of East Ridge High School and earned an associate’s degree in Business from Chattanooga State. Kathy was a lifelong member of South Seminole Baptist Church. For several years she worked in the construction industry then the last few years worked for Erlanger’s Children’s Hospital as a Patient Service Representative.      

Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Charles Jenkins; niece, Jill Posey; and mother-in-law, Barbara Cresswell.

Survivors include her husband, Darrell Cresswell; mother, Frances Jenkins; sister, Janet (Jimmy) Posey; great-nephew, Charlie Posey; step-son, Corey Cresswell; brother-in-law, David Cresswell; sister-in-law, Terry (Billy) Jones; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 24th at 1pm in the South Crest Chapel with Ron Perry and Drew Tankersley officiating. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.

The family will receive friends, Monday from 5:30-8pm and Tuesday from noon until the funeral hour in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, Rossville.
