Kenneth Wayne Guest, 72, of the Fairview Community in Rossville went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 15, 2019 at his home. Mr. Guest was a lifelong resident of the Rossville area and was a 1964 graduate of Rossville High School. He retired in 2008 from Vesicol Chemical in Chattanooga with 43 years of service. Mr. Guest was a longtime member of Elizabeth Terrace Baptist Church, was currently a member of Liberty Baptist Church and he was a member of the Steelworker’s Union. Mr. Guest loved Volkswagen cars and was well known in the area for buying old cars, fixing them up, and selling them. He was also a train enthusiast having worked on and around Norfolk Southern trains during his working career with Vesicol. Mr. Guest was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Rilla Guest; brother, Jerry Guest; and niece, Stacy Guest.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Fredda Campbell Guest; two daughters, Angela (Mary Aske) Guest of Seattle, WA and Aleisha (Travis) Gamble of Knoxville, TN; grandchildren, Spencer (Katie) Slatton and Kelly Slatton; five brothers and their spouses, Marty (Theora), Ted (Melba), Ned, Eddie, and Michael (Paula) Guest; sister-in-law, Gloria Guest and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00p.m. in the South Crest Chapel.
Interment will follow in the Lakewood South Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Monday from 4-8p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
