Kenneth “Kenny” Edward Kelley, 61, of Ringgold passed away Friday, June 4, 2021 at his home. Kenny was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and North Georgia area where he attended LFO High School and was self-employed in the Heat and Air business. Kenny was of the Baptist Faith, was an avid Alabama fan, he enjoyed NASCAR and Dirt Track Racing. He never met a stranger, loved telling stories, joking, and helping others.
He was preceded in death by his brother, George Anthony “Tony” Kelley; grandparents, Charlcie Kelley Hicks, Elford Kelley, Robert Lee Barnes, and Carrie Barnes.
Survivors include his parents, George and Geneva Kelley of Ringgold; sisters, Lisa (Danny) Davis of Ringgold and Kim (Jeffrey) Lyles of Ft. Oglethorpe; special aunt, Nina Barnes of Ringgold; sister-in-law, Donna Kelley of Hixson; nephews, Jonathan (Amiee) Davis of Ft. Oglethorpe, Jason (Blaine) Kelley of Hixson, Dylan Kelley of Hixson, and Noah Lyles of Ft. Oglethorpe; nieces, Shelbie (Wayne) Waldon of Rossville, Allyson (Michael) Fraley of Kaysville, UT; step-daughter, Amber (Stephen) Brown of Rossville; step-son, Jeffrey Greek of Cocoa Beach, FL; step-grandchildren, Eli and Maddie Brown of Rossville; several special great nieces and nephews; several Aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Hearth Hospice of Ft. Oglethorpe and Megan Bryson for their love and care of Kenny during this time.
Funeral Services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Brother James Langston and Brother James Thomasson officiating.
Interment will follow in the Daily Hills Cemetery with Jason Kelley, Jonathan Davis, George Barnes, Rickey Barnes, Greg Kelley, and Eric Henry serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Buddy Broome, Dennis Campbell, Steve Daniels, Don Kelley, Dylan Kelley, James O’Neal, and David Brown.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 12-8p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville, GA.
